Recently while I was visiting my grandpa, I took down one of the biggest books on his bookshelf: the hardcover 2003 edition of “1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die,” with the shower lady from “Psycho” screaming on the cover. I’ve always looked at this book and wondered, how many of these movies have I seen?
